Wearable AI projects
Project details
Humane Ai Pin
Website: Humane Ai Pin
Their core software is called CosmOS. They said it would be able to run on other devices that the AI Pin.
They also announced an SDK for second half of 2024. A roadmap can be found on the Humane Changelog page.
The reviews are now out (Apr 2024) and the consensus is that it’s a pretty bad product in it’s current state.
Some pros: the top-notch build quality and the vision of what this could be. Some cons: It’s expensive, slow, unstable, it gets things wrong a lot of time, it’s not integrated with your phone / usual apps, it’s hot / over-heating to the point it has to shutdown, the projector barely usable in bright environments, the voice input is not practical in loud environments or when privacy is required.

Limitless pendant
Website: Limitless pendant
An AI pendant part of the whole limitless eco-system, which includes a web app and a desktop app (mobile app to come) that records everything you’ve seen, said or heard and provides real-time transcription and summarisation.
This used to be the Rewind Pendant (that was never released and is now replaced by the limitless one). The Rewind AI assistant software, that already works on Mac and iOS devices, is still maintained, in addition to the limitless software solution.
